Digital Vouchers
Kei West makes use of cashless payment solution software. It is set-up as a voucher distribution solution, which enables Kei West to load funds and disburse vouchers to members to spend at registered merchants. Vouchers disbursed can be configured with specific characteristics to enable directing the spend or provide the recipient, or another party, with further benefits. For the recipient, an account is automatically opened when a voucher is received, no registration required. The software is hosted in Google Cloud, allowing a person to access his/her account using the web on a smartphone (no App to be downloaded) or via USSD on a feature phone. All for the purposes of transacting cardless and cashless.
Pre-distribution Process
The debit voucher solution requires pre-funding of any disbursement to enable immediate settlement of merchants who accepts the vouchers. Client will be responsible to retain adequate funding in the disbursement account, as well as accuracy of beneficiaries’ cell phone numbers. A Rand value of R5,000 or equal to the intended reward disbursement amount is required as a minimum in the disbursement account from inception of the programme. A monthly reconciliation report will be provided and an invoice will be raised in order to top up the disbursement account.
Kei West will receive a database of members qualifying for a voucher. Kei West will send a sms containing a digital voucher code for the member to redeem at the participating redemption partner.
